Renee Mondor - Pilates Instructor

Renee was first introduced to Pilates in 2021 and immediately felt a deep connection to the movements, the body-mind alignment, and the Reformer. She practiced at studios in Vancouver and Timmins until 2023, when a car accident left her unable to stand or walk for months. As soon as her doctors cleared her for physical activity, Renee returned to Pilates—this time as a form of physiotherapy.
In 2024, Renee completed the Pilates Mat Certification program at Body Harmonics in Toronto. She will be returning in 2025 to complete her Pilates Reformer Certification. Renee’s lively energy, optimism, and infectious laugh keep her clients feeling positive as they move through challenges. Her experiences have taught her that patient perseverance is the cornerstone of progress, and she brings that growth mindset to every class.
Renee graduated from the Theatre program at the University of Ottawa in 2005, and moved to Vancouver where she pursued studies in acting, as well as arts and entertainment management. She has been working in film and television ever since.
A former competitive cheerleader, Renee grew up dancing, horseback riding, and doing gymnastics. These days, she loves walking with her dog Rocky, hiking, paddleboarding, kayaking, swimming, reading, and screenwriting.
