Danya Desjardins - D.O.M.P., B.SC.N.
Prior to practicing osteopathy, Danya was working as a Registered Nurse in home care. Shortly after graduating from her B.Sc.N. program at Laurentian University, she decided to pursue studies in Traditional Osteopathy. In 2012, she began her studies in osteopathy eager to learn new methods to treat the causes of pain and imbalance, learning new methods to restore health and balance to her patients’ bodies. She joined Nadia’s practice in 2015, where she continued to learn and grow as a practitioner under Nadia’s guidance. Danya completed her degree in Osteopathy at the Canadian College of Osteopathy in 2018. In 2020, she expanded her practice by completing a course on Neurological Myofascial Release for Animals and now offers manual treatments for small and large animals. By combining her background in Western Medicine and her knowledge in Osteopathy, Danya is optimistic in helping her patients on their journey to health and wellness.
