Tiffany Lamothe - Pilates Instructor

Timmins Pilates

Tiffany Lamothe’s journey into Pilates began through personal experience. After 18 years of dedicated training and competing successfully in fitness competitions, Tiffany was no stranger to strength and discipline. However, despite years in the gym, she experienced a sudden and debilitating episode of chronic low back pain that left her unable to move without excruciating discomfort. After exploring multiple holistic approaches with little relief, she discovered osteopathy, which helped address the root cause of her chronic low back dysfunction and Pilates.

Through Pilates, Tiffany learned how true core strength, posture awareness, and controlled, mindful movement could transform not only pain, but overall function. By strengthening deep stabilizing muscles and developing body awareness, she was able to correct imbalances, improve her posture, and return to daily life with greater resilience and confidence.

She quickly fell in love with the precision and intentional nature of Pilates, the way it connects breath, alignment, and movement in a way that supports long-term mobility and strength. Inspired by her own recovery, Tiffany pursued her Pilates Instructor certification to help others experience the same transformation.

Tiffany has additional training in holistic wellness practices and incorporates breathing, relaxation, and lifestyle education into her sessions to support whole-body recovery.

Her focus as a Pilates instructor is to support individuals experiencing back and hip concerns, helping them build strength through core-focused, mindful movement. Tiffany brings an awareness of mind, body, and spirit into her work, creating sessions that are both therapeutic and empowering.

She is grateful to be part of the team at The Movement Studio and to work alongside practitioners who share a commitment to rehabilitation, mobility, and whole-body wellness.

In her spare time, Tiffany enjoys bird watching, nature and bird photography, paddle boarding, snowshoeing, and simply being present in nature’s surroundings
